So now that POE2 is out I pulled the BF2 disk out for another try.
Good thing is I have not got the name tag glitch. Bad thing is the guns still dont hit crap and everyone instantly prones when you see them.I trhought they were adding a delay for shooting when you go prone? I thought it was bad when you did in BFV and the guys looked like he was shooting the dirt. Now they dont even have to be facing you. Bad code I guess.
Why cant they just make BFV with new graphics. There was nothing wrong with the weapon system in that game. They can't even copy POE/ DC right.
So I download POE2 and start playing. I join a server with 3 people in it to check things out. I notice there is no UAV and I think, cool sneaking around just got alot better. So as I sneaky my way to a flag using the trees as cover. This plane bombs me. I think, wow, good eyes. When I spawn I get about 100 yards from the flag (not the one he killed me at) and lay down in some dense trees. I figue he might come of the flag, so I'll ambush him.He comes out of nowhere and drops a single bomb on me? Are there that many hacks out there that PB can not keep up? Or is there some secret UAV thing I dont know about? POE is a major step in the right direction. Now they just need to tweak a few things.
Oh, what this game could have been. Now 2142 is coming out and the support for this game will be even less then it is now. If that's possible.
