you only extracted the setup file, and it can't find the CAB file you didn't extract. Re-extract them both to a new directory on your desktop (they must both be in the same directory). good luck.

go into my documents,go into po2 client then go to the one on the left and right click and then extarct files then u open and it will install!

You need the mappack.cab file and the .exe file in the same place as each other when you install POE2. So were ever you downloaded the POE file to originally just right click on it and then click extract here then double click on the .exe file to install POE 2 properly.

p.s. My documents is a very bad place to download files to (because of hackers ill not go into details) its best to have a seperate place on your hardrive if youve only got a c: drive make a download folder there not in windows Or if you have more than one harddrive use the other hardrive to download everthing to it.

I have the same problem. when winRAR tries to unpack the mappack.cab-file i get an error.

I had the samething, I deleted the extracted folder and unwrapped it again winrar. The second time it was fine.

I did this. winrar dont extracts the mappack.cab-file. its is the passworded version of the mod.is it possible that there a different password for the mappack.cab-file than for the .exe? i have only one.

It's the same. The whole download is 1.03 gigs in size, do you have the whole thing?
You might want to check the POE site forums, i'm sure somebody has already post similar problems there.

I tried all of that except deleting thing, can u explain it a bit more

I know the file is supposed to be in the same place where the .exe file is but i cant extract it, i get an error, it says wrong format or corrupted file or something like that

I suggest that if you want further assistance you grab a pencil and jot down exactly what "or something like that" is and report it here, verbatim. My hunch is that you have a corrupted download, and need to download it again.
