BF2 not utilizing RAM, dumping to page file.

Just did a clean load of BF2 and it is not using RAM now.

Specs:
2 Drives: page file on secondary drive
256 meg video card
3 GIG of RAM

Before the reload it was running like a dream with all settings set at high, and other apps still running.

Only thing done was a reload of BF2, now dumps straight to page file and uses only 150 meg of RAM. It is impossible to play because of the constant writing to the page file.

Killing the page file is not the answer either. As this was working before as I said. If you experienced this please reply.

Just a word of advice , post your Cpu,Mobo,ram,Hd "make and model" if you want help .

The specs I have are good enough. The MB make and model are irrelevant.

3gigs of ram eh? I doubt it but WinXP's threshold is 3.5gig... maybe you have too much ram :P

10 years in IT and you dont have the common sence to post your specs WOW. And calling people weenie for helping you does show a complete lack of maturity. With that kind of atitude im suprized anyone will help you . My guess is your some child using his dadys comp , more of a reason i wish they had age limits on forums
