I'll have to try POE2 first. I think Desert Combat will be sweet as well. It all depends on if there are servers close by on which I can play. BF2 vanilla for now.
Ill play POE2 untill the other mods come out the two im looking forward to most are FH2 & Rise of kobol mod. POE2 is a nice mod and deffinatly worth playing but its just BF2 with different stuff in it and better maps i personally after 16+ months need a complete change.
Actually does anyone know of a mod featuring the British army as id realy like to play my own country for a change. BTW not Project reality i know there going to adding the British army but some of the stuff there doing in PR is crap absolout garbage infact they have got some realy nice stuff but imo its far outweighed by the **** theyve added aswell.
I do agree, the Project Reality team got REALLY crappy maps! Why don't they just redo the whole thing.
I played POE last night with Pirate, my feelings, it is good, but, something was missing that I could not put my finger on. They did an incredible job, but I think it was something about how dark it was, or maybe the fire-cone spread of most of the weapons. Not sure. I need to keep playing it because I might get into it. I just hope the community does not fracture off into all these splinter groups too much.
I believe you can download the old regular way off of their site now too.
Don't hold me to it, I downloaded the torrent but they were suppose to release the files with a clickable link like other downloads at Saturday, the same time they released the password for the Torrent.
You're right SilentNite, you will still need the password when you install so make sure to copy and paste or you will screw it up.
I said other mod because I'm just waiting for FH2 to come out.
I think that POE2 is starting to shape up into the Desert Combat of BF2, server-wise. I think because so many people will play it they may end up with more POE servers than BF2v.
Wrong for several reasons. Most of the Servers out there are empty, more than 50% of them from what I have seen. People will only pay for an empty server for so long. I think it will be more fun when the numbers of servers go down (which they will).
As for DC2. POE doesnt look, feel, sound, or play like DC. Totaly different theatres, and gameplay. I can only hope that DCOn or Rising Conflicts changes the gameplay some, as well as the facelift. POE is a blast, but not that different from vanilla to me, just tweaked out.

Sticking with Vanilla BF2. POE2 was a phenomenal dissapointment. Armor and vehicles are 10X stronger and effective then in vanilla, I don't get how this solved any of our problems. Infantry is worse off in POE2 than in vanilla. Raping whoring and tking everywhere.
i use to play project reality but not enuff ppl were playing at that time and yeah..and i also played 21CW but that was too laggy since u need to have medium terrain and my old 5200 couldnt handle it

Ya, I noticed that the guns were really powerful for some kits. Also, I noticed that bunnyhopping was a real big issue too. They will clean it up.
