server with no unlocks?

hi, I played on a server the other night that I could not select any of my unlocks, and there were no squads. Meaning you couldn't even create a squad.

I thought it was a ranked. (maybe not) - is this legal? It really seemed stupid to have everyone as lone wolfs.

Sometimes when I join my usual Internode ranked server, there is a bug which stops you from selecting an unlocked weapon. Doesn't happen to all players on the server. Usually I just disconnect then reconnect, and the problem is gone.

Yea but I've never seen that you can't join/make a squad ..

I've seen the no squad thing before too. Quite annoying.
The no-unlock happens because for the server you have no points and thus you also don't have any unlocks.

there is also a setting in BF2CC that you have to check off to allow unlocks

Probly the lame PVT bug. BF2 is riddled with bugs. I joined a squad and couldn't leave it. The many other times no one in my team can make squads because of the bug.

yeah I have come across the "not able to leave squad" bug, had to ask squad leader to kick me so I could join my clan mates in their squad..guess I should've just been more careful as to which squad I click "join"
