My commander loved me that round. Every flag I hopped to, he'd drop a UAV, and he always dropped a vehicle when I asked for it. Why shouldn't he? I was a squad leader, earning him huge points, while I hopped flag to flag. He got silver for his efforts. =)
I'm a flag cappin whore as well. I also get fantastic results while doing so, lots of golds, lots of team points. Once in a while some other player will see what I am doing and actually join me and help. Most of the time I am alone. I get commanders who catch on and do the same for me with UAV and such.

            Re: No Teamwork

When a squad or two of clanplayers go to one side of a server, then it really is hard not to win such rounds.

The big issue for BF2 is to get public players to use that thing in their head. Acctually, there is a huge need of tutorials and guides. People learn from other players, and do things they do.

If just people wouldnt just teamkill and camp, then there really would be more good games.

Personally, I might be the biggest camper in the whole game, but in my eyes, I do it for a purpose. I believe I do my job better then most, so I really think I should stick to my camping behaviour. Let that be said, others should really not bother camping same spawns as me, since I know most of the tricks of getting the hardware I want

Anyway, when I see squads that have worked togheter for a while, then they usually do very well.

IMO BF2 contains to many secrets that any player can handle. Both regarding the jets and other stuff. It should be a little more easy to understand the hardware in this game. If one jet is fast, the other should turn faster, so people could develop techniqes other then praying and hope to be lucky.

Same with the armors, if one do a lot of damage, have much armor, then it should be slow too.

Teamplay in BF2 is nothing to rely on. All players show their nature on SaK, when they drag their pkm down to one of the spawns on Hotel, just camping as long as they survive.

The funny thing about all those spawncampers is they usually dont get many points. I really dont understand that part, nor the ones running through the alleys with claymores. "Hey, I just wasted 50$ on this game, so now instead of skills, Id rather spam a ton of claymores iar.

I really dont wanna know why people play BF2, I really dont think Im strong enough to handle with their intentions.

I have heard this term before... "teamwork". Has anyone actually seen it in action before? It is like a rare bird that can only be found once a year on a deserted island at midnight.

Last few 'squads' have had 2 or more snipers in it, and seemed to have the intent of adding in medics and Support, so the snipers would stay alive and not run out of ammo. Fine squads, those were. Only ones on the server on that side.

Always join up with squads that look like they're built around two or more clan members. One good leader=the win, when other people join them. Have had a few exceptional leaders who were clanless, but those are rare.

the little bath toys are suicide. Enemy planes, helos, tanks, jeeps, hell even at and sniper take them out fairly easily.

Blackhawk isn't much of a better option, considiring it's a flying pinata for everything and their mother. Heaven forbid pilots actually bail out of their jets for a flag cap, or attack helicopters not stroking their e-peens by hunting for points, instead of hovering over the flag for a first spawn point.

                      Re: No Teamwork

Cant really have any teamwork in BF2 because frankly you can rely on NOBODY. This is where friends and clanners come in. The curse of a well-rounded player is to see and stare in awe as nobody does anything useful (overexaggeration, I know). Watch the minimap. Blue dots concentration at your air strip. 2 blue arrows go for enemy main and then circle back to your strip (definition of lack of air support). Blue icon of an attack chopper goes for enemy main, right over 3 enemy ground flags and disappears somewhere above those 3. Watching BF2 minimap is like watching some freaking newbie playing StarCraft for the very first time.

This is where a good group of buddies do a good game on land. And where, when I log in alone, I fly and do my own thing. Pretty damn tired of relying on useless people.

we (clan) are ALL about team play and team win
we have GREAT pilots - and what do we do as needed?
bail out and cap flags! or anything that is needed

we HATE to lose a game
score and medals just follow as they may
Thats the thing. I usually play Commander, and always spot, drop, uav, arty, order etc etc. Yet people don't follow. It's like when someone on the team asks for a UAV on an area, I do it theres like one enemy troop there they run away rather than killing them.

Rofl I've been tk'd for spotting too much, no joke.

                          Re: No Teamwork

I wouldn't say teamwork is dead, only last night i was playing with my mate on teamspeak and several people joined our squad. We then did lots of SF type missions taking flags all over the place. ie: on mashtur we went to take the bottom left base and we drove to the bridge above it and all parachuted down tpo it and took it, it was great fun real teamwork :)

If you're a commander, you'll usually find teamwork when there's a lot of people from one clan on one team. Otherwise, there's a bunch of players whom have never worked together and don't know what the hell they are doing.

Play PRMM for teamwork, play BF2 for points.

Edit: lol not intented as spam, but i mostly see teamwork in prmm and the opposite in bf2
