Hi I've only had ATi cards before my current setup in which the higher the number the better the card.. Right now I have 2x 6800GT in SLI that I got for last Christmas but I saw this 7300GS and I'm not sure if it's better than my current setup or not. Thx.

The dual 6800s are MUCH better!
6800GT approx. equals the power of the 7600GT/GS.
With Nvidia, higher numbers doesn't nessasairly mean better card. -

Always remember the first number on Nvidia cards is the series number and has little to do with power.Comment

Basically, ignore nvidias versions that have a 5,3 or 2 for their second number. Do not buy the LE verison, as they are the worst. The GS generally is cheaper the the GT, but worse. The GT is the best, except for the GTX which is without a doubt the best in their line.Comment
