Among things in the localization files that are not in the game you will also find binoculars and the laser-guided bomb designator. I'm sure there's much more that just never made it into the game.

What a shame that they never even could put those things into the game.. Binoculars would be cool though. But I hope 1.4 will fix all those bugs.. Especially the crash to desktop and BF2 is the most crappiest game I've ever seen for online play. I'ts quite funny whilst using the TV Guided Missiles when a chopper makes a barrel roll you are not supposed to hit the chopper but shoot next to it.. Yeah quite strange but it works..

It's true, there are even some screenshots of it somewhere. Apparantly you had to prone to use it and was one shot kill or something.

TBH i dont believe him, mainly because many people have asked for him to post the briefing and yet for some strange reason he still hasnt. Post the briefing and then i will believe you, unless it has multiple spelling errors in which case...

I remember that M-95 thing.
acouple of months ago some guy was able to use it on SP. its a semi-auto 50cal sniper rifle.

This sniper rifle is avaible in POE.

Hinghan hills was the original name for one of the PLC maps, (Dragon Valley i think). I remeber one of the modders mentioning they had found a lot of stuff in the out of bounds areas like extra airfields, roads that lead to nowhere and stuff like that, one of the roads or airfields is sitting under a mountain thats been placed later . Originally a lot of the maps where supposed to be much larger but that would be crap for infantry running around point to point.

I searched around my EA folder as well, there is alot of stuff that is missing.

Maybe if we could somehow get EA to get these things back in the game, or maybe it was HINT to modders../..mappers?

You can see it for yourself. Go to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Localization\English (or the directory you installed the game to). Open English.utxt . Search through it if you want and you'll see all the stuff that's been talked about in this thread.
