How to roll?

How does one roll ingame? been playing this game for a while but still havent worked out to roll,most of the time i just go prone so its been ok,but still im wondering,cant find the option in my controls.:)

It is just a visual effect. Others will see you roll also, even though you dont at your end.

yeah nothing like seeing a guy go into a role and pop off a few shots when he's upside down and kill ya.

Oh god, you better run and hide in a bunker cuz your going to be hit by n00b hating people, not calling you a n00b, but this is like one of the top questions people consider a n00b question.

Anyways, you can't actually "roll" yourself, when your running sideways and you go prone it looks like you roll to other people, but to you it looks like your just going regular prone.

My friend asked me the same question as they said a rolled MOST of the time when going prone.

I think the roll animation occurs when you hit prone and sideways at the same time. There is no special key for it...

it just happend if you go prone you dont see your self go prone but if you watch yourself in battle recorder you do.

Like they said, you press Z for prone while strafing left or right. There is a slightly different animation than just going prone, you see a small bounce, or up down motion instead of just dropping.

Yes basically if you are running sideways and you go prone you roll. But you cant see it, only other people.
