    my bf2 experiment

I've pretty much done everything with BF2. So i decided to start a new account. Well it was meant to be a kinda of experiment to see what would happen.

I created an account with the name
    im*so*not*hacking

So I go and play at svh karkand/sharqi... server I play at all the time with my other account. This is a clan server and the map is dragon valley. I spawn as the US and quickly apply to be commander. I soon realise that 2 clan members are practising with the Chinese attack helicopter. As soon as they get shot down I place arty on their spawn point to prevent them taking off. I do this 2/3 times and one occasion they manage to take off but one of our F15 pilots clips his rotating blade and he crashes. I typed in 'nice flying m8...haha' or something along those lines..no bad words I might add.
The svh clan member who was flying then says 'goodbye twat' or something like that. I was kicked and I latter find out I have been permanently banned.

I broke no rules, and i could hardly be kicked for the cheeky comment I made because an SVH member was SWEARING at their own commander who was supposidly 'doing nothing' as the svh player kindly put.

I garauntee this is 100% what happened. I am not lieing when I say I didn't break any rules.

I have been to their website to find out why i was kicked but some kid is deleting the threads I make instead of replying. I have sent an email to someone asking the reason behind the banning.

I put what happened down to the name, but even so, it's just another case of admins abusing their power.

    happy gaming.

I continue to wait for a responce at

    conclusion to the experiment:
Don't ever have the word 'hack' in your account name because admin will think you are hacking when they die and they will subsequently ban you. Forget being faster than they are with an assault gun, you will be blamed when they crash helicopters. Infact if anything strange or new happens whilst you are playing with these 'admins' you will be kicked and banned because they hate cheaters.

    Their reasoning behind my banning

If this was just an experiment, why the hell do you care if you've been kicked/banned from their server?

You have been banned for being a cheeky bastard.

      lol

I care because I don't like it when admins abuse their power. I don't like it when I get banned when I know I am in the right. I also care because it's a perm ban with my other BF2 accounts aswell so I can't play their server.

well if they ban you for that stupid reason then why would you want to play at that server anyway?

The lesson of today is: Don't experiment with servers that you would like to keep playing on.

The other lesson of today is: Smart-arses get smacked down everytime.

Key words there- Admins and power.

Admins on clan servers can kick people for any reason they deem fit, who cares if you got banned from the server? Go find another one. There's plenty of them...

I am pretty good with an assault gun. I just expected to be kicked/banned on a city map not on dragon valley using the arty the way I did.

There are plenty of other servers I can play on. Just don't like it when admin abuse their power.

I am giving them a chance to explain themselves before I report them. If I don't hear anything by the end of today, they will be reported to BROE.

Would you prefer we coddle him?

He essentially made fun of the Admins, even if it was in jest. That is a no-no in the world of common sense.

They're players too, just like us. That same admin, if I told him someone said that to me on that server, he sure as heck would not ban the person who said it. So it's a power abuse problem for sure

Some might, although it would depend on how ban-happy the admin is.

Personally, I make it a habit not to taunt the happy fun ball, and then talk about it on the web-boards when it bites off my head.
