You would have to shoot both engines to take it down

I was referering to the player models, animations, and graphic effects. I agree that the weapons etc aren't relistic. In other threads I've followed Gue's logic, that using realism as a benchmark from which to adrress imbalances and such is the way to go.

I just don't know how you can claim the player animations etc in BF42 are more realistic.
My bad, I wasn't even thinking about player animations.

The F-35 is NOT a stealth bomber, its a fighter/bomber role whose will take over the F-18 and the harrier role.

Realism isn't all what it's cracked up to be. Afterall, if BF2 were perfectly realistic, there'd be women in the USMC army, and even in spite of that, 90% of the men playing this game still couldn't get dates.

Want ultra realism? Join the Army, train like a real soldier, travel around the world, meet interesting people, and then kill them! Don't get much more real than that!

                It is a stealth fighter/bomber:

JSF is a joint, multinational acquisition program for the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and eight cooperative international partners. Expected to be the largest military aircraft procurement ever, the stealth, supersonic F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) will replace a wide range of aging fighter and strike aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and allied defense forces worldwide

"Lockheed Martin Corp. is developing the F-35 at its fighter aircraft plant in Fort Worth, where the new stealth warplane is expected to provide about 9,000 jobs over the next three to four decades. Northrop Grumman Corp. is to build the F-35's center fuselage in California and BAE Systems the aft body in England."

That is a direct quote from the 2nd link.

2.F-35 is a stealth bomber. Yet is the easiest thing in the air to shoot down.

3.Hitting a 50 caliber sniper rifle into a specific spot of a choppers rotor engine should take it down, unless its a blackhawk cause those things are mad tough.

4.All military units are not to engage in residential rural areas unless fired upon or instructed otherwise.

5.Hitting the tracks of tanks would significantly decrease the speed and manuverability.

6.Jumping from an air vehicle at 50ft and parachuting to take a "flag" allows the parachute to open about 0.1% of the way.

7.A pilot is not instructed in the use of Rocket launchers, grenade launchers, or a foreign made Eryx as well as accurately firing a sniper rifle and hitting a target 300m away.

8.Hitting an enemies weapon disables it.

9.A fully loaded blackhawk is never piloted by someone who is too cheap to buy a joystick.

10.Stop complaining about how realistic the should be, and start complaining about balance issues.
Its a game made by EA and DICE, what do u expect?
