    Things That Aren't Realistic.

1.Repairing and rearming air vehicles while flying is never done, unless your Michael Durant and tried to be cool tilting backwards right into a hill after liftoff:p , especially with no crew to do it.

2.F-35 is a stealth bomber. Yet is the easiest thing in the air to shoot down.

3.Hitting a 50 caliber sniper rifle into a specific spot of a choppers rotor engine should take it down, unless its a blackhawk cause those things are mad tough.

4.All military units are not to engage in residential rural areas unless fired upon or instructed otherwise.

5.Hitting the tracks of tanks would significantly decrease the speed and manuverability.

6.Jumping from an air vehicle at 50ft and parachuting to take a "flag" allows the parachute to open about 0.1% of the way.

7.A pilot is not instructed in the use of Rocket launchers, grenade launchers, or a foreign made Eryx as well as accurately firing a sniper rifle and hitting a target 300m away.

8.Hitting an enemies weapon disables it.

9.A fully loaded blackhawk is never piloted by someone who is too cheap to buy a joystick.

10.Stop complaining about how realistic the should be, and start complaining about balance issues.

Now I have a joystick but I fly choppers with my mouse, and I'm damn good at it too.

I use my stick for planes though.

Join the Army if you want realism. Leave the rest of us alone so we can go back to enjoying a "game" that is "fun."

Battlefield 2 isn't supposed to be about realism.

                    battlefield = game = non-real
Army = real life = realistic

so for all people who say stop whining, war isn't far. well battlefield 2 aint a war so go screw yourself!

No need for "i ma arcade fgt f off games are for fun" s*it, he was just pointing out what wasnt realistic.

"join the army if you want realism" is prolly the most fgtish comment ever. And its getting old

Your points were some of the issues that dont need to be addressed due to the fact that IT IS A GAME. The issues you stated pretty much need to be the way they are for gameplay to work even decently.

Why is BF2 better than BF42?

Because it's more REALISTIC. Realistic is better. People wanting more realism aren't just whining. Forums are for sharing ideas, and the game developers read them.

Why do we have rag doll effects, lighting effects, and a physics engine? For realism. Sure some realism is given away for playability and such, but the realer the better, in every respect.

So for those who don't want realism, just go make yourself a pretend BF2 computer from playdough and try not to soil yourselves. Honestly, you won't notice any difference because as you wisely claim realism doesn't matter.

                            So, get real man!
