Personaly, I think will be a much better game than BF..so I'm buying it.

BF WILL die out, just like any other game after a sequal is released.

Sorry to tell ya mate, but chances are, most BF players will probably move on to.

I can;t wait for it!

I never said that BF will live forever. Infact, I said that every BF game in the series will eventually fall by the wayside when the next set of mods for the newest release hit the community. It is a cycle. Hence the merry-go-round reference.

No way, BF2 is the best man....i dont like the "future" so much...lasers vs bullets, no i'd rather take the bullets

Man!! i hope bf2 last for ever coz bf2142 to me it sucks a war game with robats and lieser guns insted of planes and choppers and armors and muchine guns and sniper rifle thats bulls..t

well i havent played the demo in a few weeks but after bf2 came out, people still play the demo and there are a few 64 player servers (full)...so i doubt once bf2142 comes out ppl will abandon bf2

also another example, after cs source came out, i still play cs 1.6 and theres a bunch of others that also play it as well

I am in the Beta, so i can't say much of anything lest EA send out agent 47. i do recommend buying a pair of sunglasses, and brushing up on some WW 2 tank defense tips.

bf2142 is to bf2 like how vietnam was to 1942. bf2 will probably be the dominate game engine plus mods.

dont worry man, some ppl like modern combat, witch is why bf2 was a huge hit. not many games is as complete , as fun, as bf2 in the modern combat section. thats why bf2 and bf2024 for some, are not even competition.

without a doubt the community is gonna drop.. people said they weren't gonna leave BF V for BF2 and look what happend.. I played 2142 beta. the game is amazing

I'm not just jumping on the bandwagon when I say 'I'm not buying BF2142'. I really am not going to buy the game. Even if the game gets 10/10 by all the games review people I still won't buy it.

Firstly, I really like BF2. I have played the game more than any other game I have ever owned. Pretty much the game I have allways wanted to play...along with the GTA series.

Anyhow, I like how it's all guns and bullets and the planes and weopons you have heard of already. Flying the F15 or using the g36 weopons...the names are familiar. I don't have any interest in vtol drones or throwing those gay shock grenade things. If I wanted to do that I'd buy quakewars.

Secondly, I wouldn't have enough time to play..and master another game. I don't have an e penis that needs a constant supply ego. I play BF2 for fun...nothing more nothing less. The game as it is, suffices my online multiplayer needs.

Thirdly, I am angered and frustrated with the way EA have supported the community. There is no doubt people were given resources to patch the best fps of last year, but they failed horribly. What is it, the 6/7 patch and the game still has major flaws.....now with 1.3 even more major than before. EA/Dice have failed to listen to the community and ask us what we want out of the patches.

Aslong as there are servers running BF2 ranked or unranked, and aslong I have a need to play BF2, I will play.

Have you actually played it yet? There'll be populated BF2 servers for years to come, don't worry about that. However I don't think you have any idea what BF2142 is going to be like at all. It's not pyow pyow lasers and bloody Star Wars walkers, DICE have even made a point to differentiate from stereotypical futuristic FPS's. I'm fully willing to give it a try myself.

i was wondering ....are u guys well be still playing the BF2 game when the new bf 2142 comes out ???...i love bf2 so much and i saw bf2142 demo and i didnt like it and i dont think im buying it but im afraid that all peaple will play bf2142 and wont play bf2 any more.. i hope that doesent happen lool!!

You just like to judge things from how they look dont you? You guys didn't try it out yet, TRY IT! It could be good no matter realistic or futuristic.

I'm planning to try BF 2142 Beta, and I will quit BF2!

P.S. This is just the same with some guys i met in BF Vietnam!

no i didnt played it yet but i saw the demo and didnt like it they made the game like quake 4 lol,,,bay the way did leverpool made it to the champions league?

Well...just try it...A demo will be availible to everyone...and if you don't like it, don't buy it! Simple as that, don't judge things too quickly.
