boring? are you serious? the US stuff is the only thing thats boring these days, its in every game, allmost every mod and its allways about the same things and using the same weapons and vehicles...

The only thing not boring is trying out new stuff in different war theaters, and this is what its all about.

Isnt it enough for you ppl alredy having the US army in 99% of the war games?

Damn if i see a M1 tank in another game my head will blow up...

There is no Desert Combat mod. The Desert Combat team was invovled in making BF2. Your thinking about Desert Conflict.

I believe fragtv is doing something about PoE2 tonight at 9:30est so you may want to tune in.

PoE is definitly a quality mod...I just think the theme and vehicles are lacking.

Ever saw their Artillery vehicle being mobile? it was awesome! If you want Apaches, go buy BF2 Special Forces.

uTorrent was much faster BitTorrent, you need to set the speed manually to get the best out of it though.

Everyone needs to check out the scrimmage between Team Dynamic and Fadeight. It will be shoutcasted live tonight at 9:30pm EST by FragTV.net. I've had the chance to play PoE2 since last night because of this match up and frankly, I will never touch vanilla BF2 again except for competition in CAL-M for season 4. PoE is what BF2 should have been from the begining.

I looked at the manual earlier and I noticed:

The guns are hyper accurate compared to vanilla BF2. Range and skill will be the determining factors now, not "cone of fire."

No one has frag grenades? Alot of people have smoke, which is good IMO, but there should be SOME frag grenades out there.

AT gets mines! Been saying this for months.

LOTS of TV guided rockets on different vehicles. Armor whore's be warned.

Agreed that the points system will keep out all the people you probably don't want to play with anyway.

On the topic of a DL link, the torrent is great. I started it, went out to dinner, came back, it was done, AND already 20% uploaded back into the swarm. I'll leave it running all night like a lot of other people, so go ahead and start it now, even on a slow connection, you'll have it by the time they release the password tomorrow.

Even if you are a die hard stats whore, what else you gonna do till 1.4?

One, the F-14 is being replaced by the F-18 because of the cost of operations and aging technology. Two, the F-16 is to be replaced by the F-35. The real U.S. Army and Marines weapons are the M16A2 and M4 Commando which is playable in the normal BF2

THREE! It is an armed conflict between Ukraine and Germany, these two countries DO NOT have that advanced american technology (They are not like as rich as the U.S. Government who could have budgets over 260 billion dollars!!! Ukraine does not use ALL Russian weapons and aircraft. Germany uses the Eurocopter and NOT the Apache!

C'mon now, let's keep it clean here...

I never played PoE for BF:V since most of my buddies still played vanilla BF:V, but it looks like a fair lot of them will be giving PoE2 a go so I probably will as well. If it's as good as everyone says it is/is going to be then I'm sure I'll have a blast.

The reason it is so popular is because POE also appeals directly to the competition community. The maps were made with 8v8 and 12v12 competition in mind. The weapons are accurate and reward skilled players. The gameplay appears to balanced, so no longer will matches be determined simply by who wins the chopper battle.

Earlier this week the POE mod team allowed some of the competition clans to play the mod. Many that have played the mod say they don't even want to play vanilla BF2 again. There is also a big push to have a POE2 division started in CAL asap.
When some of BF2s harshest and most hardcore players accept a mod/game this overwhelmingly it says alot about POE2.

Tonight at 9:30pm est, FragTV will be video broadcasting live, a POE2 scrim between Dynamic and Fadeight. Shoud be a blast to watch.

I'll tell you exactly why, all the other mods are yet to prove themself, PoE have already made a release in BFV which has proven themselves to be more than incredible. They can put things ingame DICE can't figure out, and thats right they TEST it, so when you get it, SHABOOM! NO bugs WHATSO EVER, the only patches that are ever needed are to stop the odd total tard from exploiting somthing the devs trust us not to.
