Why don't those snipers just run away from tanks? lol...But then...All Battlefield maps have a place for snipers.

Masthuur, Karkand, Sharqi, Kubra and Wake. Oman is decent....but not on my preferred list.

All maps, infact given all the cranes/ladders i think some maps have been designed for sniping, when you think of the fact that claymores are indestructable and only kill the enemy, when you look at how accurate rifles are in any position, when you look at how nice the zoom is on snipers so that it can be used on long and short ranges. It's incredibly easy. There is no "best map" becuase sniping is easy on all maps.

Of course, this is where the whiners come in becuase you can't snipe someone out of armour. So what did they do?

Infantry only mode.

You sound like an armor whore

You even tried sniping, you have to get a headshot almost all the time otherwise its easy to evade you. And unless the other team sucks you are not going to be able to sit in the crane forever trying to get headshots. And then theres the fact there will be tons of people other than yourself using sniper rifles so its even harder to just camp in the crane.
