patch question

i just bought bf2 deluxe which includes special forces. what patch is everyone using? id assume the latest one but it says beta patch.

does SF need a seperate patch as well?

Dowlnoad patch 1,30 and it will bath both vanilla and SF.

seems bizarre that EA would release beta patches when the game has such a big MP following. i assume most other people use the 1.3 patch as well and not the betas

As pYura said get the 1.30 make sure it's the full patch not the incermental.
Then you can patch away.

Oh and one more thing when your done with the patch don't trash it.
You will need it if you decide to buy the booster packs AF or EF you will need to reapply the patch if you get them with the EA downloader.

Make sure you install bf2 and sf and any boosters you buy before you install the 1.3 patch

The beta patches aren't meant for actually 'playing'. There's only a handful of servers left if even.

A simple rule that can be applied to ALL your software updating and patching.
If it says beta-stay away.
