I downloaded your modified maps and gave them a try on your server. It's like playing some of the original vanilla maps for the very first time. I think I am going to like the constant change from battle to battle. There are always surprises around the corners.

to name a feW;

1) Choppers in karkand on a beutiful sunny day.
2) New building beside the temple in Mashtuur really changed the way that flagged worked.
3) The new fog in Dalian plant made the map feel totally new.

and so many other changes I don't have the time to list....

You should charge people for the work you do. Nobody deserves this good of a deal.

How do I control what purchases that are done every turn?

I dont really get it, I signed up and I posted to choose my army, but how can they know if I dont have the same nickname in BF2 and in the forum ? Im downloading the Dalian Plant but where are the other maps ?

Do I join the server with my actual BF account or do I have to create a new ?

You have to register and join an army to play in the league. There should be enough links to get your there in the first post.

To play the maps on the server here is some more links to get you the info.

Don't worry about your tags if your just trying it out.

We are working on a self installer that will automatically put everything in the right place.

Basically the MAP.zip file always gets extracted in the mods/bf2/levels directory.

The MAP_server.zip file gets extracted in the mods/bf2/levels/(map name) so it will overwrite the old server.zip file.

Never extract the files in the client.zip or server.zip files.

There was a small period where the download site was down last weekend.

The game should work fine. Please specify what is not working.

You must download the maps for the server. You also have to download the most recent server.zip file and replace the old one.

If your PC crashes to desktop, it means you probably don't have the right files downloaded.

We just made all the download executable files so they get placed in the right directories without you having to figure where to put stuff.

Don't be afraid to ask for help on the forum pages.

Yes it is a big push to bring new and modified maps into BF2. Basically you will only see the same map for a period of 500 pts and you will never see that version of that map again. The asset layout is what changes the most.

Scrimmages will also be organized to play on all the maps that we modified in the past, but these scrimmages will not count towards the battle theatre. Only the scheduled Battle Time will count towards the theatre.
