Let me ask this and try to be proffesional here. BFROE??, where is a player told when Unpackaging, installing, or updating Bf2 that while playing in ranked servers he must agree to and obey the official ROE ????
Yes that is the problem 90 % of the people playing the game never even heard of the ROE. Yet they can be banned for something they know nothing about. anyways this is all irrelevant to the stupidity of the situation. I m just hoping to communicate in a somewhat intelligent manner the flaws in your practices.
Ive spoken to several EA executives personaly (yea howd i do that? ima Cop in san fran i can call whoever i want) about the player reporting process and the infrastructure that supports it. I asked specificaly about the role of BFROE. this was there answer, EA has no official knowledge or has made any publications aknowledging BFROE as EA affiliate.
The actual contract was awarded to Gamespy a subsidary of the IGN network for all player reviews, suspensions, and removals. If BFROE.com would be able to do anything it would be to tattle tale on other players to gamespy as kinda a babysitting service. Theyve stated clearly they report directly to "EA" the only thing EA deals with is tech support for the game. You can check all this yourself by calling the phone number in the back of your bf2 manual (650-628-1005)
An executive ive spoken to at EA also stated his concern with the release of the ROE to all players. Orginaly the ROE was designed for ranked server providers and admins as a guidline for hosting servers .
Ive heard
BFROE members are a bunch of fat rogue homo nazis who try to get people kicked out of a "GAME" for not obeying ROE is this true ??
I thought the community deserved to know the truth as it will set you free ...power to the people
