Still playing with 1.3, or gone back to 1.22?

While we're all waiting for EA to release 1.4, I'm wondering if you guys are continuing to play with the 1.3 patch, or whether you've reverted back to the 1.22 patch for better stability.

Most of the community is stats hungry and ranked servers are not allowed to have older or newer content than the current patch (more or less what is written in BFROE).
I think there are plenty unranked servers on 1.22 or maybe even the patchless game.

you are 100% correct. there are even couple of servers running the demo lol

Theres like 20-30 servs running with no patches, i just got the game and cant be arsed to put any patches on till 1.4

We have a server with multiplay and were told we could roll back to 1.22 and it still be ranked. EA said 1.22 servers would still be ranked because of the crashing problem with 1.3. We never did it because not everyone has 1.22 most have 1.3.

was 1.22 the patch where aa missiles actually worked on all airframes? ye they flew in crazy circles n stuff?

The reason they did not roll back is it would have stoped the sales of AF and you know how EA/Dice is about money.

The ones I feel bad for are they ppl that had contracts for their ranked servers and could not get out of them.

All I did was drop my little 16 man ranked server and will not bring it back till this mess is sorted out.

As for BF 2142 I have had my fill of EA/Dice products for now.

thats dumb for ever i didn't realize i needed patches and there were only like 5 server for the patchless game and they were always full and impossible to get into unless you waited for like 15 minutes ... wait... you still have to do that with 1.3 even though there are 1000's... think i'm going back to patchless lol easier...

I see hundreds of servers and none are full. I can get into any I click on.

1.2 or 1.21 was the patch with the crazy missiles.. 1.22 corrected that and made AA pretty deadly.

I still run 1.22 to this day.. the hell with 1.3
