    A Effective Performance Tweak

    Hi,

I have found a very effective performacne tweak for BF2. on the optiosn screen, instead of having the MAP & HUD slightly transparent, take all transparency off these too, and also slight put abit of transparenyc onto the croshair & u will get between 10-15 fps more.

I did this & now im averaging 60fps, in intense battles i get no lower than 25fps.

He is saying to make the hud and minimap more opaque and the crosshairs more transparent for a nonexistant performance boost.

Thank you for clearing it up. I also had a hard time understanding him. I wasnt sure if he meant to make the hud less or more transparent. And same with the cross hair.

Doesnt really matter for me though, since i'm running Crossfired X1900xtx and have no performance problems at all.

discussions take the weeeeeeeeirdest paths sometimes...

anyway, it actually helps in slower cards that have trouble rendering transparencies :)

its not the size or the quantity of the hardware that matters, its how well you use it
