Update of progress on 1.4!!!

As an update to progress with the delayed 1.4 patch, the patch has now passed initial re-testing but has yet to pass final approval before it is prepped for release. When this has happened the patch will be staged for release and we will let you all know. Once again we appologise for any frustration this delay is causing however it has occured to ensure the patch is as solid as possible.

Could it have something to do with the guy bashing him on the EAUK forums with constructive feedback? Who knows.. Atleast it worked

Great news! So, the patch is coming, "soon"! Like we didn't already know that one

So hopefully we're looking at next Tuesday, unless EA are feeling adventurous and decide to go for a Friday patch release? Here's hoping.

Maybe they're fixing the J-10 =o (Like I care, I play SF lately anyway)

I wonder if they will tell us what it was exactly after they release it, I'm pretty curious.

just be glad its "only a small problem " they found....jeez how long would it take to fix a big problem ? either way you look at it EA and dice are taking the piss at the expense of us.

I wished they had released a hotfix for just the crashes quickly after the 1.3 terror... That wouldve really taken care of a lot of the (deserved) whining going on the last few days.

EA have not given any sort of release date at all or even hinted at the fact as to when it will finlly come. Stop rumourmongering, Suck it up and go play POE2 at the weekend.

I guess some news is better then no news. Seems I have just gotten used to all the little quirks now with 1.4 that I am desensitized. I still can't get over though, how with patch 1.1 they had a hot fix two days later, and with 1.2, they had a couple versions days after that one was dropped too. *sigh* I guess I will just have to get over it, two months when they might have been able to have a minor hotfix/tweak out within two weeks, and a big patch two months later (where we are now)...hmm, now that I think about it, has it been 3 months since 1.3 came out?
