BF2 hangs or crashes if peripheral is connected

Hello everyone. Thank you for checking this out. I just got this Motorola IMFree. It's a device which allows you to talk on AIM wirelessly in your house. Anyways, in the Device Manager it is listed as a HID Human Interface Device. Anytime that device is plugged in, BF2 will hang or crash before the intro starts. I've tried changing the shortcut command from +fullscreen 1 to +fullscreen 0 to see if I got any error messages and did not get any. Has anyone had any similar problems with a peripheral and BF2 or any other EA game? Thanks for any help or advice anyone can give me.

Well I'm glad that I was able to help someone. I know it's not a big deal to unplug the IMFree whenever you want to play BF2, it's just kind of a pain in the rear. I am curious why the IMFree is causing this to happen. The driver for the IM Free is a standard Microsoft HID driver that is used many other times in any given system. So that can't be it. I don't know. If anyone does know something about this then please let me know. But as RufusMegee said, He's been dealing with this for a couple months with EA and they can't figure it out.
