ive seen lots of screeneis of people getting a +2 bonus for killing someone or +1 bonus for an ammo point. can someone tell me what this is and why/ how it happens. thx.

its not a mod or cheat its just something you can change, heres a link http://files.filefront.com/Samtheman.../fileinfo.html, but you have to extract it to C, Program files, EA GAMES, Battlefield 2, mods, bf2, localization, englishComment

You can edit what the game displays on your screen when you do various things in game.
Instead of saying "You killed so-and-so" you can have it say "You killed so-and-so (+2 bonus)".
Personally my favorite thing I've done with it is to display how someone was teamkilled. It's easier to admin a server when I see "so-and-so [Teamkills - M95] so-and-so"...somebody really wanted a vehicle.
It's not considered a cheat and I search for a thread started by SaladFork that has "Localization" in the title. It will explain everything as well as give you his version of the localization files to install.Comment

I downloaded those files and then did a little editing myself.
For instance, when someone spots an enemy soldier it appears on my screen as "Enemy Moron Spotted." when someone throws an ammo back, I see "Get ammo here, Rambo." And I changed "There is a Problem with your Connection" to "F***king Annoying Message Saying Your Connection is Bad." It makes the game alot more hilarious.

Question, those +2 points, when you kill someone, is that the actual point you get in the taly window or its just made up.
What im sayin is, does the points get pulled from the rank system or random point scheme made up by you locally.Comment
