        Yes, like your eyes, they are 2 sources of "input" and they are combined in your brain to give a better idea of the exact location of the prey cause we are predators.

                  Its two seperate cameras a small distance apart then taken the shot at the same time or could it be one camera?

                    There was one on one of the site forgot which though. It can be with 2 cameras, altho there are stereo cameras. So either way. But for max effect the pics have to be takes at the exact same time and at the same distance as the distance between one eye to the other.

                          ive done this a lot; if you can cross your eyes, it looks better to put the two pics next to each other (the one from the camera in the right positon on the left)

                          cross your eyes so that the images move on top of each other and wait for your eyes to focus.
