If one or two players are majorly outclassing everyone else on the server, I have no problem kicking them at the start of the next round. And I'd tell them as much:

"Sorry, nothing personal. The rest of us will just enjoy the game more if we're not getting pwned by you."

Or something close. Take it as a compliment and move on.

I got on a server part way into a round and we were getting raped at our main base. Spawn, die, spawn die… etc. I made a few comments about the skill level of the campers and stated they would not stand a chance if I and my clan mates got out of the main base. I managed to get out and cap a flag and it was on. We made up the point deficit all the while with two guys talking smack to us. I would throw in a pithy comment about how no matter what they said to us, they were going to lose. The round went on with this guy saying this and that with me responding with things like "Well you can sling crap as much as you want, but the round will be ours". Sure enough we got down to them having 1 ticket left when myself and 4 of my guys were kicked at the same time. Gold, silver and bronze would have been ours. We tried to hop back in and ask why it happened, but within seconds of the join now button popping up, we were banned.

Now I admit I have a mouth on me when someone talks crap. I don't appreciate it when someone insults me and I usually get the a$$ and go after them on some sort of crusade to make a point. I realize getting owned in the game hurts, but be a man about it and if you can't get as good as you give, then go away.

Some people ban for the dumbest reasons, but being kicked/banned for being good is the dumbest one yet.

I was playing commander a few days ago and was kicked 2 min before the end of the match for being in an uncap (karkand, I was USMC commander in our uncap base). I join a minute later to find the top player as commander. He had 34 points as non commander, I had 36 as commander. End of round, he gets 2X pts for "winning" and the gold.

What did I do? Got on the opposing team and hunted him down! Got kicked again (after a few M95 kills :laugh:), so I went to another server.

People are always going to pull crap like that. Back in my Quake/Quake II days this happened on a very regular basis, almost always with the accusation of using a Z-Bot (loved that railgun).

If you followed the rules for that particular server, then you know it's on them for being babies. In the end, all the points/medals/etc in the world don't mean a thing outside the game.

If they kick you for being good, then they're playing for the wrong reasons.

I got banned from an LLC server a couple of nights ago for completely decimating the Shat out of the MEC team with an F35, no joke, just straight up banned with no explanation. After being banned it said it was for excessive TKing and an admin decision; funny how I had no TK's the whole round.

I'd go to their forums, leave a nice little complaint, and then go to a new server. =)

Things get sorted out better on forums, since the higher ups have a better chance of seeing it. Going to their TS, just means you're dealing with the same pricks who booted you in the first place.

That was done as well, but they deleted the post.

Their 'higher up' sent an email to the player who got banned and is supporting the admin that made the ban and kicks although there is not a shred of evidence. He says there is no way that he can prove my guys were doing something illegal nor can we prove that we were not.

Since they have a large presence here at TotalBF2, I figure it was the next best place (without it getting deleted) to let them know they are wrong in their assumptions, irresponsible in making these in-game allegations and that an apology and retraction is in order.
My guys are experienced players who have been playing BF since BF1942 Wake demo (4 years this month), and with all that time and experience, they are simply just very good, not great, just good.

My word of advise, next time you see somebody doing really good on the scoreboard, take a look and see what they are doing that makes them so good, squad up with them, play along side them and you might learn a thing or two. If you simply assume people with high scores are cheating than you're only cheating yourself out of an opportunity to learn and get better.

yeah actually until they balance the anti-air I am happy for admins to kick good pilots, or someone who stole enemy's last jet lol

Quite frankly I really give a "fluff" why somebody was kicked somewhere...too l33t, too dumb, too smart, too offensive, too good, too hax, too idle, too foreign, too tank, too C4...i really don't bother (after reading approx 500 threads here surrounding this "fascinating" topic).

If u don't like the server,admins or if you feel unfairly treated just don't play there and look for a different server....the next one is only a mouse click away.

You missed the point entirely. Getting kicked is normal and we move on.

It's when false allegations of stat padding and hacking are made in game as for the reason for the kick is what I take exception to.

Why do admins kick me for simply destroying commander assets in bases? Damn that really gets to me. They say im base raping but all I'm doing is getting in there, killing only the people that see me, blowing up the assets, and leaving.

Here's a cute one: a BH (Bounty HunterZ) admin rammed into my chopper and made an instigating comment: after killing him, I commented "nice try" and was kicked for smack talking. Alright buddy...
