My BF2 vacation...
Ok, I hadn't played BF2 in a little over a week due to lack of time, school, work, etc.. Anyways, lucky me I get sick, so I call out from work, and decide to just relax and play BF2, fun times right? So it starts out bad, because the game decided to crash to desktop as soon as I clicked join, no problem, I'll just reload. A few hours later when the game got done loading, I started playing, got TK'd for a J-10, three times 
. The server I always play in is usualy good, but lately seems as though it's been taken over by idiots. After I get over that, getting my revenge, I get into a J-10, start kicking some *** when the wonderful crash to desktop strikes me down. And all throughout the rest of the day does it crash. Now when I'm sick, I'm in a bad mood anyways, but this just pissed me off to hell. I've purchased nearly every game EA has thrown out there (except sports), and I defended EA like crazy over and over again. Now I'm begining to turn. If this 1.4 doesn't fix this MAJOR issue, I'm done with it. I'm not bashing EA, I understand how dificult it is to create a game such as Battlefield, but this isn't just a small glitch with the sound, this is a big problem. And it's been over a year with no resolution yet. FIX THIS DAMN ISSUE EA, STOP WORRYING ABOUT SQUAD HOPPING AND EXPANSION, AND MAKE THE GAME PLAYABLE!
I just had to rant a bit. I do love the game, and would like to continue playing future games that EA throws out, but it's hard to do if they don't work. I just hope that 1.4 fixes it, and from what I'm seeing so far, it's promising. If it doesn't, I am going to eat the CD's and cases of BF2 + Special forces, and in my rage spit it out so fast that it goes back in time, and hits the developers in the head so hard that they will for some reason test the game thoroughly before it's released, and eliminate the CTD error.
