Here's another timeline=

Wed:Post on EAs forums says that an annoucement on 1.4 patch will come out on friday
Fri:Annouced that 1.4 will come out on tuesay
Tuesday:Crtical error (possibly in client install) arises. Date pushed back to Wed.
Wed:Patch error is still not fix, give us 7 days max

Which brings us to today, Tuesday, which means there is still one more day left.

yeah, and its not because they are working on games..EA is a big company that has its own departments for each game..its not like 10 people workin on everything at once.

I wonder how BF2142 will be???

Think maybe I will buy it a year later when they finish making the full game with the release of the 1.4 patch for BF2142. That patch would be like 2GB.

Just like BF2, after one year of release they dont finish it and still getting out content and fixes. 9 patches. 1.4 530 MB Looks like bf2 was unfinished a year ago.

Good post, that dont harm the webpage are good for getting visits and more users.

The 1.4 threads here are the ones that get the most visits and views.

I do have a webpage in fact. I also moderate a forum and subforum. I would like to point you to the key word in my post though. Its a magical word, with great use in sentences just like the one I said. Let me point it out for you

A good percentage of the posts thusfar have been based on rumor with little to no backing, yet they state it like it was a press release. The responses to these posts are not any better. Sure it can bring traffic, but all it does is spread false rumors that lead to more pointless threads like this. I'm not saying they should delete/lock this thread, but if it continues on its downward path some action has to be taken. IF that happens of course.

well i have a 7800gs w/ 2Gb RAM & X-Fi Sound
and it seems slightly more demanding than vanilla bf2
but not much. The 2142 beta is having slight lag issues in
close combat so its hard to really benchmark yet

Nice! Is it a big jump in graphics from Bf2 or did they take the graphics in a different direction from BF2.
