Some of the admins work with Dice, directly or indirectly they do the dirty work to keep good the EA name in the forums. They know that 1.4 threads are bad publicity for bf2142.

Why post about 1.3 or other patches dindnt got locked?

It doesnt make sence to close those thread that generated so much views and visit to the webpage. The only reason is them following EA orders.

1.4 thread doesnt do any negative thing to the forums only positive.

people are always posting stuff like " yeah 1.4 is coming out tommorow"..they either make up the rumors or they hear it from others..there has been no official news from EA for a while now.

Doesnt matter, all thread like this one are getting closed or deleted for no reason. EA dont want negative publicity for bf2142.

I can bet there was no bug in 1.4 and all this was to get a week for releasing the BF2142 Beta and the news about the new bf for consoles. They know the only time people visit EA websites and forums is before a release of a patch.

I wonder how BF2142 will be???

Think maybe I will buy it a year later when they finish making the full game with the release of the 1.4 patch for BF2142. That patch would be like 2GB.

Just like BF2, after one year of release they dont finish it and still getting out content and fixes. 9 patches. 1.4 530 MB Looks like bf2 was unfinished a year ago.

Our sources have told us that EA has delayed the BF2 1.4 Patch by at least a week (7 days). There is a slight possibility that it may be released before a week, but the outcome does not look great at this moment. If more information becomes available, we will let you know.
