Battlefield Deluxe Installation Prob

Whenever I try to install Bf2: deluxe edition on my computer, it always get to disc 3, file name "objects_client.zip" and the installation freezes. No error messages, nothing. I've left it for 3 hours on this file. When I check the Task Manager, it says 0-1% memory usage. After I end the install program, the disc is still spinning, and I have to restart my computer for it to eject.

I'm on a brand new Macbook Pro, running Windows Xp with Boot Camp, 2.0 ghz processor, 512 RAM, 128 mb Radeon x1600 graphics card.

Try cleaning disc 3. I had a friend that had the same problem, install always stopping in same place on same disc. It turned out there was a little smudge on the disc and after cleaning it, it worked fine.

Yea, that always seems to be the case.

I would suggest working with .iso's... Easy installation, and so it's 'legal' keep your CD in the drive instead of getting a *****.

Just look for a "Battlefield 2 Torrent".
