I can imagine BF2 sniper duel's are quite boring, the person who wins could just be the most persistant camper, or just the guy who happened to look somewhere by sheer luck, theres no skill in the actual shooting/ :/

have you played sniper? its alot of skill, might be boring at times but there is more skill involved than spraying a PKM.

I would say 8v8 or 12v12. FF on for claymores. No UAV.

I have only noticed ping when I am flying gunner, I have not noticed too much when sniping.

Sadly though, it would need to be on a ranked server or after 1.4 comes out, because it is only fair both sides have an unlock.

You think so? As long as there is not a big problem with spawn camping, it can be wicked. I have had plenty of heated sniper fights, often just me against a team of snipers. It can be harsh because sometimes do dont see them move, and then when you get up to move, you hear shots whizzing by your head.

It only will suck not having a medic around or supply drops...or if there are serious vehicle restrictions.

I snipe alot, all you have to do is point at the top of the head and pull the trigger, the only skill.. comes in sniping moving targets, and your positioning. Snipers will usualy not be moving like your average medic monkey.. so no, theres little skill in the shooting part.
