Mic Problems >< help me please :)

Hi Guys,
New to the forum, if anyone can help me with this problem that would be awesome.

My mic works on msn counter strike etc etc however cant get it to work on bf2.

I have tried the mic test in audio and get nothin... and i cant select the mic gain box for some unknown reason...
i have also tried the mic setup when you install the program but et no response... what do i do?

any help would be great

Go into windows sounds setup.

Control Panel>Sound>Voice>Test Hardware

See if windows finds it, then go into the game and see if it works.

IIRC there is also a voipconfig or test in the BF2 folder.

"Program files\ea games\battlefield 2"

im now getting a red thing in the mic test.. is that good or bad??

ok ive got the microphone test in bf2 options to work i can hear myself but still cant get it to work in game what am i doing wrong?

could someone tell me what im suppose to see in game when i speak through the mic ?
