Is there any way to find out what server has you banned and the reason why??

If its Gamearena or Internode (Your an Aussie) submit an unban request and I think they will tell you why.

Well see mate, i was looking at the ribbons cos i got one tonight and didnt know what it was for. And then i saw i had a ban at some point. I dunno who from, what server, why, nothing!

I receintly got a one minute ban for having a negative score after two nobheads ran over one of my mines. That was on a NewZealand server last week.
I left the game then the game stopped cause there wasn't enough players left.

It was probably a tkpunish ban for a round only. GA use to run 3 punishes then a round ban in the early days might have been from then?

Yes, but wouldn't that just count as a kick and not a ban?

At any rate, I think the reporting mechanism is glitchy anyway, at least in this one stat. Up until last week, I, too, have had a single ban on my recond for as long as I can remember, but like baggygreen, I don't ever recall being banned, nor in twelve months have a ever had a problem logging into any server (my regulars or my local low-ping random servers), i.e., I've never been denied access to a server.

Last week, though, I actually was banned from one of my favorite servers. I got the message stating that I have been kicked and banned, and then for the next couple of days whenever I tried to connect, I would get a "you have been banned from this server" (paraphrasing) popup message.

Looking at my global stats, though, my ban count has not changed. It should be 2, but it's still 1. Makes no sense. Glitchy, I say. :p

I've run into this as well. I had only one ban (went to a K/P server and mowed everyone down with a tank until the Admin banned me) then when I tried to access the LustHog SF server, was told that I was banned there as well. Luckily the admin was able to fix, yet not explain the ban. Perhaps a fat finger? However, the entire time, I was still listed as only one ban

So unless you know what server banned you, I don't think you can find out by using any of the ranking sites. Maybe ask EA? I've never heard of anyone asking them about a ban before, maybe you'll get lucky.

I play on the NZ servers all the time, in particular ICONZ Wake 24/7 and I always get banned when I take off in the J10 and noobs run in front of it!! It pisses me off big time. "You have been banned for 1minute due to having a negative score"

i recently asked this same question. the answer is no, there is no way to find out which server you have been banned from. i'm in the same position and would like to know who banned me and for what reason.

just last week i was banned and i was careful to record the i.p. i had just logged into a server with kubra/64 running. i spawned at the airfield, was there for about 10 seconds and then got banned for excessive team killing. i was stunned since i hardly had time to see if i could get a chopper out of there. i'll probably see if i can track down someone from that server to remove the ban since it's obviously a mistake. if not, who cares? there are plenty of other servers running a map you'll want to play on.

Same boat.
I got banned from a server the other night (for parking cars to block spawn points) but my stats still show 0 bans.

Maybe you guys are like me I have 4 bans total. Only 2 of the servers that banned me are still around running the game. The two still running the game both banned me for reporting stat padders, to the admin who were present.
After being banned the second time I now just kill the stat padders. I currently have 4 TKs on purpose, because of this. I have gotten to where I could care less if a server bans me as I try and play as fair as I can. If that is still a problem for the Admin I really dont need to go back there any way.
Bottom line is some Admin will Ban people for no reason other than being able to say they have banned the most people. I have far worse things to worry about and think that they need to get a life. But thats just me. . . . . . .Red

So what? Just find another server. If your so wrapped up in stats that you sweat a ban on them then I guess you'll be starting over so as not to tarnish your reputation.

I have 3 bans and deserved every one of them. I'd rather be banned on the server, than to make the mistake of ever playing there again.
