If it was with a better site than FilePlanet I probably would buy a subscription but I'm not paying $40 to subscribe to a website that I can't find anything on, where the community is a bunch of whiney little WoW nerds and where you're paying $40 for priority downloads and a few perks that are rarely worth subscribing for (BF2142 excluded). I get just as much from FileFront for $12/year.

It's also very encouraging that it took over THREE MINUTES just to load the redirect page that shows an ad for non-subscribers. I gave up waiting to see the actual homepage.

I'll just hope I get lucky in the BFPodcast contest :)

I clicked on the link and it took me to a Quake Screen Saver link that was disabled.

Is this poor planning on fileplanets part, or good marketing for quake?
