I think it just shows, How much the community wants there game fixed.

If EA had kept us all informed, There would be no need for all this, How long would it take to post a message up on there site, 1..2.. minutes :)

Its such a shame the games companies don't really care about the comunity, an Estimate would have been nice.

Downloaded...played....

First of all - I think it's official. Size of 1.4 downloaded by EA Downloader is different then beta 2 from EA official site.

Second - you can not drop car on buildings and main bases (uncapped)

Third - New map is looks like mix of Karkand, Mashtuur and Ghost Town from SF..nothing special IMO.

Another....C4 throwing distance is short, 3-4 meter with jump and no more

Prone/stand animation is a bit slower now, but still lethal for PKM's maniacs:)

There is no servers on this version at this time

No Vehicles mode - only RIG's on Wake can help you with transport:)

Does this version have a black box with the words BETA1 or BETA2 at the right hand side of the screen because both Betas had a watermark.

Uh, this was part of beta 2...as was mentioned ad nauseum, there was also the closed beta (call it beta 3 but it was different size thant beta 2)...there was the bad final patch (probably what you are playing and it is different size than beta 2) .... waiting on the final official 1.4 patch

Oh ffs stop spamming the number of people reading this ... its not a private option given to the selected few, everyone can see it and will look if they are interested.

EDIT: If anyone wants so badly to install this infamous 1.4 patch that might be the actual one or not and is afraid to do so fearing it might ruin the game install then do the same as it was advised with beta and as some have done with the earlier patches.
Make a copy of your BF2 vanilla folder and rename it to smth else and install the 1.4 in the Battlefield 2 folder.
