Thanks for the english lesson .. sometimes I completely miss the tense or the sentence ..

In my old school my teacher said to me:"If you go in England you have to speak very well because they are so mind-closed. So if you have a bad pronunciation of some words they won't try hard to understand you"

Maybe if I write the thing can be different..

I think the point your teachers were trying to make was that, most English speaking people (Not just the English) expect foreigners to speak English when they are in England/US/Australia etc. And expect to be able to speak English and be understood in none English speaking countries.
People who's first language is English tend to be quite arrogant about it.

I cant blame them. I expect ppl who live in germany to speak german, but oh well....most cant. With like 30% (maybe more) foreign population and a low birthrate from german couples the german language is degenerating very fast.
