Fraps(or equiv) - Usage and Setup

For the people who use fraps (or equiv) ,

How often do you use it?

If so, do you some sort of system where it overrights the file each time, or do you have a dedicated HDD for it.

Or do you have it active and turn in on while in the game when need be?

www.fraps.com demo version has a 30 seconds time cap on it, its worth buying it.

I use it when I need it. I have plenty of space, it sure does suck up the megs but. I usually save the fraps vids to another HDD partition, then compress them later to be smaller sizes, then dump the original.
