Not to be an ***, but you seriously need to work on your fundamentals before you ask about such an advanced maneuver. When you can get consistent 3:1 scores, then you can stop focusing on your main flying and shooting ability in favor of complex flight patterns...Comment

Conflicting rudder and y axis (? correct me if its actually x) with throttle changing from 0 to 100% . Thats the technical part. Then you have to get a feel for it, and how to go into it immediately.Comment

If I know the one your talking about it is kind of hard but it can be done easily enough but maintaining it at that height for long periods of time is a different story.
If you are talking about dodging AT rockets while maneuvering around a certain point, then the circle strafe you just tilt the helicopter to the left or right with the mouse or keyboard arrow keys, then use the w and a keys or the w and d keys and manuever around it with the mouse.
There are alot of Helicopter manuevers to be done, its just a case of finding what works best for survival. I have learned to dodge TV missiles effectivly, and IGLAS/Stingers. It's all based on yourself, noone can say, oh you do this and thats how you dodge a TV missile. First off you have to know how to do that manuever and second your better learning yourself and finding what suits you best. Over time since I piloted over 90% of the time, I learned a variety of manuevers, you learn as you go along and I know alot of manuevers but out of all the ones I know I will use the ones that suit me best and I find the most effective to use and the one I can initiate without a problem.
But really circle straffing isn't something really used on Rural maps, sure on Sharqi it can come in handy, but on maps like Dalian or Wake, its most likely that you have enemies surrounding you, jets, stingers, helicopters or whatever, so if your busy circle straffing around a flag, your giving the enemy heli time to hit you with the TV missile. imo its changed, you can rarely cap a flag on Dalian if your up against a challenging enemy team. On Dalian if im in the attack chopper, most of my time is spent keeping my eye out for the enemy chopper, they are the #1 enemy or problem usually.Comment

Kudos ot ArmyDr, these videos turned me from noob pubber who couldn't a stationary tank to dancing circles around enemy choppers.
He also did a gunner seat tutorial, I never watched it because I was already a good gunner at the time I decided to try flying, but it's bound to be more good stuff.

Spinning around while capping a flag will hardly increase your KD, in fact... using these maneuvers without a sense of purpose will most likely hinder your ability to frag others: I taught the technique to a friend of mine who was convinced he could bypass the basics in favor of more advanced tactics and he still can't keep the bird in the air or attack threats efficiently... oh, but he does a mean whirlwind though!Originally posted by Supermario05

Ask Rub-UFS- (along with many other accomplished pilots/gunners) whether or not I know something about supporting a gunner in his duties: soloing is a matter of personal preference which has no bearing on my ability to line up my gunners.
