    CD key

no this isnt some noob asking for one, but a noob who has lost his.

about a week ago i had to do a system restore on my PC, this fudged up most of my programs, including Battlefield 2. I have also lost the case and manuel which has the CD key on the back.

i tried to start battlefield after the system restore but it said i was missing a DLL file, i downloaded it and put it into the BF2 directory and it seemed to work. I got upto the server select screen and select a server. The game would then exit with no error messages.

i downloaded the 1.4beta to see if it would correct the problem, but it would say "battlefield 2 directory not found". I tried using regedit to find the old CD key so i could reinstall the game but the directory couldnt be found again.

and now im stuck for idea on how to get back on this game, i dont want to buy a new cd key from Ebay or use one thats already in use as i dont want to get my account wiped. Are there anymore things i could try to either get the game running or find out the CD key im using.

    CD key

guys i dont want to tell my whole story so please go to patch error forum read my post, then come back and then reply this:

i installed 1.2 patch, and then i installed sf and it said patching error however it patched it because it moved on and installed the whole game, and i ran game and in every server i went i got this: Your CD-Key is invalid
i got ****** and i tried many codes however its not working.
i have to say my simple bf2 is usally ****-cracked but when i installed sf i wasnt using **** crack ...
the sf worked with lots of invalid key messages , until i copied the **** into the game cause i realised i forgot that... from that on i couldnt play any of the 2 games

      Re: CD key

If you registered your games you can go to the EA.com website and login to the support area...and under the my stuff tab will be a list of all your registered games with cd keys...if you havent...good luck!
