How good is transport chopper's armor in 1.4?

I read somewhere the Transport Choppers were insanely beefed up, to the point AA's and even planes are useless against them...

What would be a pretty good thing. I am sick of planes stealing my BH kills

But yeh i hope those transport choppers are better now. its quite impossible to get to the flag with 2 J10's In the air @ Wake island

Yep. What you heard is wrong. They're stronger but at a guess I's say by about 25%, not more. It's possible to use them and not fear the 50cal too much (unless there are 2 together firing upon you) but please don't expect them to resist jet attacks.

hopefully we'll see more use of the BH and other transports as a result of this armor increase; they became downright useless on a few maps after the mini-guns were nerfed (I think the only fix really ever needed on them was to prevent in-flight repair)

now.. if we could just remove vehicle-drop from the game.. lol.

if they can resist jet attacks i think that would be retarded... but they do need to get beefed up a little bit... 25% seems good
