on my mobo i just have onboard sound and play my sound settings on medium and EAX does this affect fps if i dont have a decnt audio card?

amd athlon 64 3400+2.21ghz
1.5gigs of ram
ati x850xt PE 256mb (agp)

Well if you enable EAX on onbaord soundcard it does take fps down, and even cause game crash.

yeah it will take off some fps cuz onboard stuff usually gets most of its power from the CPU, so its prob gonna take up more cpu usage with higher sound settings
