There is a game known as Steel Panthers which is a Turn-based game. It is pretty hard to find this kind of games one of these days. I am acutally amazed that I have dug it out from my bookshelf.
The trouble was I could not run it when I was beginning to recall it is a DOS game and my rig is a P4 805 with all the modern days hardware. Fortunately lucky, I found a DOS emulation program which runs the amazingly smooth now. This World War II turn-base dgame is still a good experience. Better than Civ 4 in terms of simplicity of game play.
