Temps of Graphics.

Hey guys, this is just a really quick question bout my temps. Ok when i am idle it runs at 54-56 F but when i am in harcore online gaming it runs at 60-65 F. It is still in the green section of the bar but it seems that it is really hot. But is it normal? I just want to know the right awnser so im not always worryed.

it depends on ur computer and wat it considers overheating...my comp thinks that at 125F is overheating so it auto crashes and reboots the comp. but it really depends on what hardware u have...some stuff is more sensitive to heat than other stuff

but first...60-65F is very cool...its like lower than room temp so i think u mean celsius, so if u mean celsius, 60C is a bit warm, but if its in the "Green section" i guess its fine...some ppl go up to 78C

Yeah 65C is fine. My old 6600GT hit 85C quite easily.

the highest I've seen mine go is 75C after I alt-tabbed out of SF. But I have 3 case fans going to get the heat out. I still get a frozen screen after playing for a couple hours but I think that's a coding problem as 145C is the slow down temp for my 6600GT.

WAIT, sorry i mean Celious. 60-65 C not F sorry for that mistake. It seems hot.

the slow down temp for my card is 115 C

Yeah 65c under load isnt too bad. My 7600 used to idle at 58 and under load, it could get up to 77*C. I recently bought a Zalman vf700cu fan/heatsink paired with artic silver 5, and now idle is 43 and ive never seent the card go above 53*C. So it definately payed off.

ya, thats not bad. my 6600gt idles at like 54C
