u guys must get educated on how pings work.

if the guy your shooting has a much higher ping than you when u shoot his character you will hit him as his hitbox and his character are very close together on your screen, however on his screen he is moving more in front of where u see him, hence how u die several seconds AFTER u run behind a corner etc sometimes. and when he is shooting you he will be shooting your character but getting puffs of your body because your actual hitbox and character on your screen are more in front of where he sees you, hence in order to hit he has to lead you a ****load. why do you think its so hard to hit people moving side to side, the netcode in this game is horrible. if i am in a chopper i will check the other guys ping and adjust my aim forward or back of his chopper accordingly and rarely miss. 9/10 on choppers. usually towards the tail as i only join servers with less than 50 ping.

Low ping is definitly not a disadvantage. High ping is however, for the obvious reason of lag, but also for being called a cheater. Why? Because high pings (in the view of low ping players) appear to teleport across the map. No joke, I've seen it. Others games suck BHD, have banned ppl with a dial-up connection thinking they were teleporting. :hmm:

low ping = faster killing but also faster dying. Pretty standard knowledge.

I have trouble playing with a ping anywhere over 80. I always thought the lower the ping the better, but I have never got a ping lower then 35 so I can't really tell. My avg ping is 45 I get no connection lag.

I always love playing against Americans on NZ servers at 2 AM - 5 AM, so much easier since most players have 250+ Ping.

I had 350+ Pings going up against the cable whores with 50 ping back in DFLW with the shotgun. Cleaned up too.

LOL, this is the first good thing I ever noticed with high ping. I should be happy cuz my pings are ALWAYS 90-150.

In italy we used to say (in quake 3 arena): "No ping no skill"
In q3 low ping is a must.

Do you have a nice ping? You can hit the enemy while they are running without any problem, but they can do the same as you ..

Do you have a bad one? You can avoid bullets like in matrix but your aim won't be great..

If you ahve a low ping, that is actually a good thing. If you are getting lag, it might be something else. Ping is a unit of measuring time.

well a player with a ping over like 250 can at time ice skate around (looks like they are moving without there legs moving) or stutter thats why most servers boot people with really high pings but for the most part people with pings like that can't kill you unless they get really really close or spray a TON of rounds at you

Back on topic, I've noticed that some players lagging badly I can't seem to get a good shot on them, well they are harder to hit than a normal player with a good ping. I've noticed someone with a high ping jitter about like stutter one meter forward every second and back its like wtf?

Don't worry, if they're doing that, then they're stuttering on their screen too, so they won't be able to shoot back.
