Question On Unlocked Weapons

Ok, I've only unlocked the 2nd sniper rifle and the 2nd medic gun, but, for soem reason I find it harder to kill with both of these.

The 2nd sniper rifle, although looks far more powerful and has a better scope, seems to do less damage....:S

Is it me?

Same for the medic gun....unless I'm just crap with both of them!!

And does anyone know why in my sig it says RANK-1?

it actually says you are a corporal lol but they second sniper if you hit the any where it leaves them with 2 bars left if you hit head instant kill.... i'm not sure about the medic gun but the sniper is almost the same as the berret

The medic gun (L85A1) kicks some serious ***. Switch it to single shot and aim for the head at long range.

The M95 is a little off on the scope. Theres a thread around here somewhere that shows exactly where you have to aim. I'ts mainly used on air maps to snipe guys out of cockpits, but it will also destroy a helicopter if you keep shooting at the glass.

did u say something to the g36e!? once i used it on 1 round my score was 29-2. its awesome... try to learn to use them. the sniper is good, try to snipe the heads for instant kill

All sniper rifles do the same damage. Only the M24 can shoot through bullet proof glass, ie you can shoot pilots that just enterd a chopper or a jet. Not very useful, unless you join a server that the game hasn't started yet and want to take the jet from your teammate :p

This is totally wrong. The M95 does 95 damage, and can go through armoured glass. The M24 and L96A1 do 95 damage, but this is reduced by 1/3 against body armour. The MEC and Chinese auto-snipers do 45 damage, which is again reduced by 1/3 against body armour. Any of them can kill with one shot to the head.

The M95 has a horrable bullet drop over a distance so I recommend you unlock the L96 when you rank that is your best bet. Aim a little bit above the head when shooting at long ranges with the M95 other then that it takes some practice to use that one!!

accuracy is a bit off with the M95. if its too far, you have to compensate for bullet drops and aim a little abouve the head, just a small amount tho. keep practicing, you will get the hang of how the gun works. also, if you shoot a person once and they dont go down, you can easily switch to your pistol quickly and finish them off. pretty handy when your enemy notices you and you need to take them out quick.

changing your rate of fire you just select teh weapon again, but you cant with sniper rifles. and not every gun has burst fire, some are just single and full auto. the default setting for the gun will always be either auto or burst fire, and you can switch it to single fire by reslecting the item. by reselect, i mean like press 3 while already holding teh gun, or just scroll and select it with your mouse again while still holding it.

SORRY!! You are right. I was just confused between the M95 and the M24, you are right about that.
And didn't know the body armour thing! You mean if I shoot an AT/Support/Engineer (?) soldier they get only 32~ damage?
And I totally forgot the auto-snipers. They are just lame, I never use them so I forgot typing about them.
