The last time I played 1.4 BETA (version 1), the servers, at least the ones I joined in, were ranked >_>

1.4beta is ranked normally ..

Now there's only a server ranked (IN USA).. other servers are unranked

If it shows up as ranked in the server browser then it is, yes.

At the start they were almost all ranked. I can't say now what the case is though.

The beta is over now. 1.4 is out on Tuesday 08/22/06 last I heard.

Not really over. There are 2 servers left. I just returned from Jalalabad. :p
Not ranked, but good fun.
And to my surprise, no bugs at all so far.

That is excellent news. I played the beta mapa nd others for a total of 35+ hours give or take. I had no CTD, no sound glitches, no red tag bug. I loaded up a lot quicker than usual too.
