You get an Airbourne Specalist Ribbon from being in a parachute for more than 10 seconds dont you? Or am i being dense?

So if I take the transport heli as high as possible say on Ghost Town and dive out and hit parachute and it takes me 10-20 seconds to hit the ground will I get it?

there is no parachute ribbon? I though it's a ribbon for planes because if you would have to do tat. more people would have this ribbon

as far as i know, the requirement is 30 secs parachute for the normal airborne ribbon. not very hard at all.

bf2player says 30 secs, bf2s says 10secs?

edit: i have just looked at your link, interesting, i havent seen that one before...only 3ppl! is it discontinued you think?

I can't even find that ribbon on my stas list. As AdamSki said, no specialist requirement.

It was removed a while ago, when SF come out. Some people had it as a bug I remember reading.

That BF2:SF ribbon was impossible to earn as it required the player to fly a fixed-wing aircraft in Battlefield 2: Special Forces. The ribbon is similar to the Aviator Ribbon for Battlefield 2. Problem was, there was no aircraft to fly to begin with! Those 3 players were most likely BF2:SF testers.

This ribbon was removed when Battlefield 2 was patched to 1.30.

Well why was it called airborne? In vanilla airborne ribbon was for parachute and aerial for plane. Maybe it was ment to be parachute one?

Gonna go try that in a minute infact as the only difference between the other medals for BF and SF was a little extra time or maybe 2 extra kills. SO maybe this is slightly longer parachuting?
