Weirdest glitch/bug I have ever seen.... wtf?

Well I need to tell you the background.


I opened up BF2, and I searched for some wake. I was just clicking insomnia, and as I was, I was like "Sh*t I need to open up FRAPS.." (cause I am getting footage right.....

So then I minimize, and I open it up, and then (some of you may have seen it before.. it happens whenever you are about to login/join a server, and you minimize for some reason) everything was gray. Very weird, but I saw it before. That isn't the thing though...




After I hit Join Game....




THIS... is what I see....








Now if that isn't a huge "WTF!?"... then I don't know what is...


Thing is, I couldn't hit enter, the map wasn't showing up, NOTHING showed up. When the round ended the text didn't show up.. ("_____ has won the round! ___ - ___")




Very weird...

Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Thats pretty cool.

I ALWAYS get the map not showing up for like 30 seconds, then it shows up

I spawned once like that.. Couldn't move or anything. My end screen was in commander mode, while artillering. Next map, I was stuck. Suicide didn't fix it, reconnect did. That was very lame.

Couple of times happened that on Warlord map - always just after a round as commander.

I have only seen something like this in PunkBuster screenshots of hackers, that is all. Very strange.

had this before but the sky looked normal, I just wasnt able to do anything for ac ouple of seconds, nothing on the screen

Happened to me with no text/map, but I've never had that bug-hack.

yea not saying ur hacking but theres a hack that disables the sky, i dont see why someone would use it on wake tho:laugh:

I know you aren't, but it sounds like that is one of the guys that doesn't know the difference between a bug/glitch/macro/hack/etc.... thinks everything is a hack.. :laugh:

Looks like a quick video card problem. Can your graphics card handle BF2 alright, or is it bairly working with everything on low?

I think when you minimized it you fudged the loading

Yeah I think so.


It's just one of those REALLY rare, and very weird glitches I guess.. :hmm:
