According to this link, EA are making a new console-only game called Battlefield: Bad Company. EA says this is not a renaming of a 2142 port, but a completley new thing. Not much else is known.

If Rainbow 6: Vegas isnt a joke, then I doubt Battlefield: Bad Company is.
