bf2 will not launch

ok so i was playing bf2, 2 days ago as i get ready to join a server the computer jsut CRSHAES out of no where, froze an everything.

so i turn the computer off and turn it back on, i try to play it, but nothing happens, as i click the bf2 icon jsut that bf2 box pops up and thats it nthing more. i updated my patch and my video card drivers, still doesnt seem to work.

SOO i decided to reformat my HD and reinstall windows, so i did that and i installed bf2 and its doing the same exact thing.

if you all have any info, i'd appreciate it.

i reseated my memory,, video card, reset my bios.... still does the same exact thing.. i dont know wat to do anymore =[[[[

Are you able to play other games? this would narrow it down to either a BF2 problem or a hardware problem.

thnak you for asking that, i jsut installesd halo for pc, and it wont launch either it say halo has encountered an error.

Just to make sure try reinstalling your graphics drivers. If that doesnt work I think there may be a problem with your graphics card.

ive reinstalled my graphics card already, still nothing, hmmmm would i be able to return the card if i still have the recepit but no caseing?
i bought it at microcenter

actually i jsut installed my half life 2 game and it works fine
