Being a "User" and being allowed to use Punkbuster

Hey, whenever I try to play bf2 on my account (which I have set as a user) it says I have to be an admin to use it. So, I just go in the admin account. But it would be nice that I could play it in my account. Is there a folder or something I have to boot it in safe mode and change the privlages?

    Thanks

Hmm that stinks... I wonder what it has to access that only an admin can.

Could you not run the game with admin rights, but remain logged in as a user? Well - I know you CAN do it - I just don't know if PB would like it.

Give it a try - right click on the BF2 icon and click on the 'Shortcut' tab. Click 'Advanced', then 'Run with different credentials'. Now double-click on the BF2 icon - you'll get prompted for the admin credentials (or leave them as is).

Try it - and post back to let us know if it worked.

Oh yea, never thought of that. I'll try it in a sec, I need to do some things first.

Edit- I tried it and it works perfectly, too bad I have to put in the name and password everytime though
